Why can’t the pipeline be pressurized during pressure testing?

Henan Zhongtong Pipe Industry Co., Ltd. introduces the reasons to you:

1. The pipeline connection is not completely sealed: If the pipeline connection is not completely sealed, such as loose welding, aging and damage of the sealing ring, and loose threaded connection, gas or liquid will leak during pressure testing, and pressure cannot be formed.

2. There are leaks or cracks in the pipeline: If there are leaks or cracks in the pipeline itself, gas or liquid will leak from the leaks or cracks during pressure testing, and pressure cannot be formed.

3. Failure of pressure testing equipment: There may be a failure in the pressure testing equipment itself, such as damage to the pressure gauge, failure of the pressure pump, failure of the pressure release valve, etc., resulting in failure to form pressure.

4. Incorrect pressure test method: Incorrect pressure test method will also result in failure to form pressure during pressure testing, such as insufficient pressure test pressure, untimely pressure release, etc.

5. The pipeline system is not fully inflated or filled with liquid: Before pressure testing, the pipeline system needs to be completely filled with gas or liquid. If the pipeline system is not fully inflated or filled with liquid, pressure cannot be formed during pressure testing.
